Career Timeline

2013 – I started my career as an intern from eSewa as part of my academic curriculum. I was doing my BBA from NCC at the time. eSewa is the leading payment service provider in Nepal.

2014-2016 – Took over the responsibility of expanding the eSewa agent network outside of Kathmandu valley. Agent network grew to be the backbone of eSewa as it demonstrated the presence of eSewa at the grassroots level in the nooks and corner of the country and helped establish it as a household brand. As the HOD – Agent Department at eSewa it was necessary to acquire SMEs, train, and retain.

2016-2018 – With shifting customer behavior and growth of footfall traffic from POS to self signup, it was necessary to promote self-registering customers Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Department was formed. Its focus area was to promote self signup and digital lifestyle to personal users. As HOD of the department, it was necessary to target, onboard, retain customers. Customer support was another crucial factor to track the customer journey, hence I was also heading the eSewa call center.

2016-2018 – Digital marketing was important to target customers and there was a growing need to properly manage the digital media around eSewa. It was necessary to train teams, maintain SLA and SOP. Retargeting customers, creating sample customer target groups, planning campaigns, and offers were some of the interesting responsibilities while I represented HOD – Social Media Department.

2018-2020 – With growing business and client base. It was necessary to promote B2B relations. After I take over the responsibility of HOD – Business Development Department, to achieve the goal of exponential growth, strategy for different industry segments was formulated and executed.
